The style of speech and pronunciation of a particular language varies from place to place or from group to group. For example, in English-speaking countries, their dialects and pronunciations are different and in the case of Assamese, upper Assam and lower Assam have different dialects and pronunciations. Similarly, the MISING people have different ways of speaking and pronouncing the language from place to place or from group to group. There are six sub-groups among the MISING people based on their speech and pronunciation. The groups are Delu, Pag:ro, Oyan, Mo:ying, Sayang and Dagdung.
Their languages differ in their speech and pronunciation. They also differ in the meaning of some of the sentences. Some sentences and words are not understood by people in one group during conversation with people of another group.
